Plan the work before counting on funding.
Plan the work your business needs before relying on funding. Check the programme’s current rules, eligible costs, application timing and documentation directly with its administrator; funding approval and reimbursement should never be assumed.
Define the project independently
Start with the business need, intended work, timing and a budget you understand. Funding can change what is feasible, but the project should still have a clear purpose.
Check the programme directly
Before committing to spending, ask the programme administrator about current availability, eligibility, application deadlines, approval requirements and eligible expenses. Keep written confirmation of the rules that apply to your application.
Keep the scope and records clear
Ask suppliers for an itemized scope and clarify what is included. Keep proposals, approvals and invoices organized. Discuss timing with the administrator before assuming a cost can be reimbursed.
Discuss a realistic marketing scope
Sunday North can discuss branding and marketing work for your business. Funding decisions belong to the programme administrator; a marketing proposal is not confirmation of eligibility or approval.
